If you happen to come across a great price on a London Broil then you should just grab it up because making an Air Fryer London Broil is one of the easiest dinners you can make! Our whole family enjoys them cooked so simply, the flavor is outstanding!
Preheat the air fryer and while it’s warming up rub down your steak with oil and then rub on the seasonings and it’s ready to go in no time at all. Then it’s into the air fryer with it and it cooks between 12-15 minutes.
What is it?
Typically a London Broil is another name for a Top Round Roast cut thinner than a roast. It is not a tender steak BUT when you JUST cook it to doneness and don’t overcook it then it’s flavorful and delicious.
If you’re looking for another great way to use a London Broil I think thinly sliced and marinated in this Carne Asada Marinade would be fantastic!
Finished Beef Temperatures
You’ll notice that I gave varied times for the finished steak. That’s because air fryers vary, as do the weight and thickness of the London Broil.
So cook it in your air fryer until it comes to the correct temperature. And remember you need to let it rest after you’ve cooked it. The temperature will continue to come up about 5° as it rests. These are the temperatures for finished beef from the “Beef, it’s what’s for Dinner” site
- medium rare should read 145°
- medium should read 160°
- well done should read 170°
So checking with an Instant-Read thermometer is the best way to quickly and efficiently check the temperature before the Air Fryer loses its heat!
