Classic Lemonade Syrup keeps a batch of fresh lemonade just minutes away whenever the weather heats up. Make the syrup once, store it in the refrigerator, and mix up a glass or a whole pitcher whenever the mood strikes. Perfect for those hot summer days and nights when you need a refreshing drink. Or use it as a mixer for any and all cocktails or mocktails that require a simple syrup.

Lemonade syrup combines fresh lemon juice, sugar, and water into a smooth concentrate that can be mixed with additional water to create lemonade. Since the syrup is already prepared and chilled, it’s easy to make a single glass or a large pitcher without having to squeeze lemons every time.

Homemade lemonade tastes fresher than anything you’ll find in a can, bottle, or packet. Making a syrup ahead of time also means you can control the sweetness and strength of every glass. It’s a simple recipe that makes summer entertaining easier and helps you keep a refreshing drink ready to go.

What You Can Make With Lemonade Syrup

Beyond the normal glass of lemonade you can also make lemonade soda. We have a soda stream that makes sparkling water and when it’s combined with a syrup you have something like a homemade soda. Try the Rhubarb Lemonade Syrup for a soda flavor no one is expecting.

When we host parties we like to put out our homemade syrups next to the soda stream. Everyone can make their own flavored sodas to their preferred sweetness. And if it’s just adults we add a chilled bottle of vodka or rum for cocktails. Your drink station never had it SO good!

What You Need For Lemonade Syrup

Just the basics are needed for this recipe. Tools that help along the way would be a lemon squeezer or a reamer. And a canning funnel is always nice for bottling.
