Classic Lemonade Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  • Combine the water and lemon juice in a saucepan or Dutch oven

  • Place over low heat
  • Stir in the sugar
  • Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved and the syrup is smooth and no longer gritty, do not boil the syrup, you only need to melt the sugar into the liquid
  • Pour into a jar or bottle

  • Refrigerate until ready to use

To Make Lemonade

  • Combine 1 part lemonade syrup with 3 parts water
