Cannoli Dip
Love cannoli and all the deliciousness it brings? Yeah, me too! But what if you could have the flavor without the work? Now you can with this EASY Cannoli Dip Recipe! All the creamy, luscious flavors of cannoli in one dippable bowl.

I’ve never made an actual cannoli before, have you? I have made a cannoli cake, and it is delicious. I highly recommend it. If you find yourself wanting to make deep-fried cannoli shells and fill them, invite me over.
I suppose sooner or later the GBBO will have this Sicilian Pastry as part of pastry week. And then I’ll have to make cannoli, until then this cannoli dip or the cannoli cake will have to suffice.

Ingredients for Cannoli Dip
- ricotta cheese
- brick cream cheese, softened
- powdered sugar (No powdered sugar? No problem—try these swaps)
- heavy cream
- vanilla extract
- almond extract
- *optional* grated orange peel if you like add a pinch when mixing the ricotta and cream cheese
- mini chocolate chips
- dippers, see below for ideas

What To Dip In Cannoli Dip
Anything goes here! You can use shortbread, any cookies you have on hand, graham crackers, or ice cream cones. If you’re serving this to kids, teddy grahams are fun to dip in. Stroopwaffles make an amazing dipper for this dip. And of course fruit like sliced apples work really well.
What kind of cookies work best? Cookies that are a blank slate are nice because then the true flavor of the dip comes through. Think cookies like shortbread, ‘nilla wafers, and chocolate wafer cookies.
For graham crackers try cinnamon or chocolate for a flavor boost without a lot of competing flavors. Honey or plain work great too.
My preferred method is a SPOON, but you do you.
Shortcut Dessert Recipes We LOVE!
We love dessert, but we also love shortcut dessert recipes like this cannoli dip. This Pumpkin Cheesecake Dip is a great idea for quick desserts in a hurry. An Apple Pie Dessert Board is another fun one for a crowd!

Can This Be Frozen?
You can make this ahead of time and freeze it, though the texture might change slightly. For the best results, prepare the recipe without the chocolate chips before freezing. You’ll want to blend it after freezing so making it without chocolate chips is your best bet.
When you’re ready to serve, let it thaw completely, then pulse it in a blender or food processor for about 30 seconds. After that, stir in the chocolate chips, saving a few to garnish the top, and it’s ready to serve.
Since this recipe comes together quickly, you could also make it the night before. Just cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate until you’re ready to enjoy.

I love this idea! I always only eat the inside filling of the cannoli anyway , so this is perfect for me. Thanks for the recipe.
