Sugar Cookie Truffles
Sugar Cookie Truffles are a quick way to turn simple sugar cookies into something that feels special. They come together fast, require ZERO baking, and always look festive thanks to the white chocolate coating and sprinkles. They’re great for last-minute treats when you want something easy but still “homemade.”

These sugar cookie truffles start with your favorite store-bought sugar cookies so they’re sweet, soft, and creamy, with a familiar sugar cookie flavor running through every bite. The cream cheese binder gives them a tangy taste that pairs with the sweet sugar cookies to make an almost perfect bite. They taste like frosted sugar cookies in truffle form.

This recipe is perfect when you’ve got sugar cookies sitting around and want to turn them into something new. It adds a twist to cookies that are a day or two old, and it’s a simple way to make a small treat feel upgraded.
Truffles made from cookies also work well for cookie swaps or party platters without a lot of extra effort. While they’re not exactly cookies in the traditional sense but they are made from cookies. It my book, that works.

What you need to make sugar cookie truffles
Adding these few items to your list means you’re set for a quick treat anytime.Don’t worry too much about what kinds of cookies you get, as long as they’re frosted sugar cookies. Choose any color frosting, flavored sugar cookies, or even holiday-themed versions all work. Each variation gives the truffles a slightly different flavor and appearance. And if they have sprinkles on them that’s not a problem, you’ll be scraping them off.
- premade frosted sugar cookies
- cream cheese, make sure it’s softened
- white chocolate chips OR you can also use white almond bark for dipping these truffles
- sprinkles, use any colors you like
If you’re planning to make these and you want to make other sweet bites try my homemade malted milk balls OR these peppermint Oreo truffles. Both make great addition to homemade cookie trays, party platters, or even put together in small boxes as gifts for friend.
