What You Need To Make Wingstop Ranch
The ingredients are SO simple, too. Simple to shop for, simple to prepare, this recipe is a keeper.
- Full-Fat Buttermilk, NOT LOWFAT
- GOOD quality mayonnaise-don’t skimp on this
- Restaurant Style Ranch Dressing Powder
Short and sweet, right?

The Secret Ingredients For Wingstop Ranch
There are TWO very important ingredients for this recipe; both are crucial, so don’t skip them.
The BIG secret to this recipe is in the Full Fat Buttermilk. Don’t be tempted to buy low-fat; keep looking, and you’ll find the full-fat in the daily case as well.
You must also buy the best, top-quality mayonnaise. Don’t skimp here, spend the money to get the best mayonnaise in the store.
If you change either of the ingredients I’ve specified as “must haves” for this recipe you will have a finished product that doesn’t taste like Wingstop Ranch.

Drizzle it or Dip It
This ranch is perfect drizzled on salads, try my Crispy Chicken Salad or, better yet, my Buffalo Chicken Salad. ANY salad works with this dressing, even just a side salad.
This ranch is a must-have for dipping wings like Spicy BBQ Wings, Lemon Pepper Wings, or Classic BBQ Wings. Its creamy texture perfectly balances the bold flavors of your favorite chicken recipes.
