What You Need To Make 7-Layer Dip Cups
These fun little cups are easy to make.
- refried beans
- guacamole, store-bought or homemade
- sour cream
- chunky salsa
- shredded Mexican blend cheese, or use cheddar, or any cheese you like
- Optional Toppings: sliced olives, green onions, pickled jalapeños–see below for more ideas on changing these up to suit your guests needs
- Serve with Corn Chips of your choice

- Swap refried beans for black beans
- Add seasoned taco meat
- Use pico de gallo instead of chunky salsa
- Make them vegetarian, vegan by varying the beans, cheese or sour cream

- They can be made keto-friendly by leaving out the beans
- Make them spicy by using hot salsa, or by adding diced jalapeños or hotter peppers, or use both!

7 Layer Dip Cups
Equipment
- 8 9-ounce cups
Ingredients
- 16 ounces refried beans
- 1 cup guacamole store-bought or homemade
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chunky salsa
- 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
- Toppings of choice sliced black olives, diced fresh tomato, diced green onion, diced pickled jalapeno peppers, etc.
- Corn tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- Set 8 clear 9-ounce punch cups out on a counter or cookie sheet
- Spoon 2 tablespoons of refried beans into the bottom of each cup and smooth out with a spoon.
- Next, add 2 tablespoons guacamole and spread out evenly
- Add 2 tablespoons of sour cream and gently spread over top of the guacamole, spread to cover the guacamole completely
- Spoon 2 tablespoons of salsa over the sour cream layer
- Sprinkle 2 tablespoons shredded cheese on top of the sour cream
- Top the 7 Layer Dip Cups with 3 or more toppings of your choice
- Serve with tortilla chips
