  • Room Temperature Eggs
  • Vanilla Extract

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1-2 cups rainbow sprinkles 

Instructions

  1. preheat the oven to 350˚
  2. in a stand mixer cream together the cream cheese, butter, and sugar until soft and fluffy-you can also use a hand mixer
  3. add the eggs one at a time beating well between each addition
  4. then mix in the vanilla and set aside
  5. in a separate bowl stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt
  6. then use the mixer to mix into the cream cheese mixture just until well incorporatedMixing the flour into the cream cheese mixture.
  7. line a baking sheet with parchment
  8. pour the sprinkles in a bowl
  9. use a cookie scoop to scoop the dough and drop it in the sprinklesDrop the cookie dough in sprinkles before baking,
  10. press it down to make the sprinkles stick
  11. place the dough sprinkle side up on the cookie sheetClose up of the sugar cookies.
  12. baked 12 at a time in the preheated oven for ten minutes or until done
  13. if you use a large cookies scoop just bake them longer

  1. My teen just made these and they are tasty! Very sweet and ours needed 14 minutes in the oven (the ones that baked for only 10 min were…a bit underdone). The dough is very tacky, but I’m guessing that helps with the sprinkle adhesion.
