What You Need To Make Pecan Pie Dip
You’ll just need a few pantry staples and some fresh pecans. The cream cheese gives you that smooth base, the brown sugar and syrup bring the sweetness, and the pecans add crunch and flavor.
- cream cheese
- heavy whipping cream
- powdered sugar
- salted butter
- lemon juice
- egg
- brown sugar
- corn syrup
- vanilla
- pecans
- cinnamon graham crackers (for dipping)

What To Use For Dipping
The recipe calls for cinnamon graham crackers to use for dipping but you can really use any kind of cookies, sweet crackers, or fruits. Try these dippers:
- shortbreads, homemade or storebought
- chocolate or regular graham crackers
- vanilla wafers
- apple slices
- pear slices
- teddy grahams
- saltines, sounds weird but the salty works perfectly with the sweet in this dip
Need More Caramel?
This recipe makes a nice amount of caramel-y topping full of pecans. If you want to absolutely drench it in caramel you can add a jar of caramel topping from the store. Or add some of my Salted Caramel Sauce to the top of the pecan caramel layer for additional and ooey-gooey layer.

How To Store This Dip
Store this dip in the fridge. Be sure to keep it tightly covered in the fridge. The cream cheese layer is prone to absorbing fridge flavors so a good covered dish or tight plastic wrap will do the trick.
Keep any extras in a covered container in the fridge. The dip will stay good for a couple of days in fridge.

Why was there no caramel syrup on the list of ingredients? Do you have to put that in it?
It makes a caramel-y topping, that is the caramel. You can add a jar of caramel sauce if you need more.
