Bird’s Nest Cookies

- 16 oz chocolate candy coating
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 6 oz chow mein noodles pretzels or coconut
- 1 package Cadbury egg candies OR Malted Egg Candies
Spray a mini muffin pan lightly with cooking spray
Line with plastic wrap and press into each cavity
Melt the chocolate candy coating in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals until smooth
Stir in the peanut butter until fully combined
Add the chow mein noodles and stir to coat
Spoon about 1 tablespoon of mixture into each muffin cavity
Arrange noodles to stick up slightly to create a nest shape
Press egg candies into the center before the chocolate sets
Let sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes until firm
Lift the plastic wrap to gently remove the nests
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week
- You can substitute pretzels or shredded coconut for the chow mein noodles
