Apple Crumble
Is there anything better than a seasonal dessert that features fresh apples? I don't think there is! This Apple Crumble recipe is perfect for Fall apple picking days!

Filling:
- 4 cups apples cored and sliced, peeled or not!
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- ½ teaspoon allspice
- 1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- pinch of salt
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
Topping:
- 1 ½ cups flour
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup butter room temperature
- 1 egg
Preheat oven to 350º
Toss the apple slices with the rest of the filling ingredients together in a bowl
once coated, place apples in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish
Combine flour and sugars for the topping in a large mixing bowl
Add butter and egg, and stir together until crumbly
Sprinkle over the apple mixture
Bake in the center of the oven for 40-45 minutes, until the crumble is golden brown on the edges
