Air Fryer Barbecue Chicken Thighs

A quick bbq rub, air frying, and then a bbq glaze makes these air fryer thighs deliciously seasoned.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 TBSP light olive oil
  • 2 TBSP brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  • preheat the air fryer at 400° for 5 minutes
  • pat the raw chicken dry with the paper towels
  • put the chicken in a large bowl
  • pour the oil over the chicken and stir to coat
  • mix all the spices together with the brown sugar
  • then rub the mixture into the chicken
  • when the air fryer is preheated the chicken in it
  • set it to 380° and set the time to 8 minutes and air fry
  • turn it over after 4 minutes
  • when it's been a total of 8 minutes check for doneness by using a digital thermometer, if the temperature is 155° brush it with the barbeque sauce on both sides and cook again for 2 minutes or until the temperature is 165°
