- ½ onion finely diced
- 2 lbs lean ground beef browned and drained
- ¼ cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Soft buns for serving
- Pickle slices for topping
In your slow cooker, combine the diced onion, cooked beef, oats, salt, sugar, mustard, pepper, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce
Stir until everything is well combined
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours
Spoon the warm, loose meat mixture onto fluffy buns
Top with pickles and serve immediately
