Rice Krispie Crackers

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt optional if using unsalted butter
  • 4 oz cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat
  • Melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop

  • In a bowl mix the flour, cayenne pepper, and optional salt

  • Pour the melted butter over the flour mixture and stir to combine

  • Add the shredded cheese and mix well

  • Use your hands if needed to finish mixing
  • Roll the dough into 24 equal balls
