- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1//2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips divided, use a mix of milk and semi-sweet chips,
- 2 ounces bar chocolate chopped, you can sub with extra chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon flakey sea salt or or kosher salt
- vanilla ice cream for topping
preheat the oven to 350°
cream the butter and both sugars until soft and fluffy
beat in the egg and the vanilla
mix the flour, 1/4 tsp salt, and baking soda together in a separate bowl
add to the butter mixture and stir to combine
then stir in 2/3 cup of the chocolate chips and the chopped chocolate
pat the dough into a 10-inch cast-iron skillet
sprinkle with the remaining chocolate chips and the flakey sea salt
bake for 15 minutes
top with ice cream and serve immediately
