Garlic Hasselback Potatoes

These simple buttery garlic potatoes turn everyday dinners into something worth looking forward to.

Equipment

  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Silicone brush

Ingredients

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tbsp butter melted
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F
  • Set each potato between two chopsticks and slice every 1/8 to 1/4 inch without cutting all the way through

  • Place the potatoes on a baking sheet

  • Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper

  • Bake for 35 minutes
  • Remove from the oven
  • In a bowl mix the melted butter, parmesan, parsley, and garlic

  • Brush the garlic butter mixture over the potatoes making sure to get some in between the slices

  • Bake another 15 to 20 minutes until tender and golden
