Blueberry Filling
- 5 cups blueberries
- 1/3 cup of sugar
- 3 TBSP all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/4 tsp salt
Best Crisp Topping
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter
preheat the oven to 375°
toss the berries with the lemon juice
mix the sugar, flour, salt, and zest together
toss with the berries
place in a 2-quart baking dish
make the topping, mix the flour, oats, and sugar together
rub in the butter until the mixture comes together
sprinkle the crisp topping over the prepared berries
bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until the berries are bubbly and the top is browned
