Ingredients

Blueberry Filling

  • 5 cups blueberries
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • 3 TBSP all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Best Crisp Topping

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter

Instructions

  • preheat the oven to 375°
  • toss the berries with the lemon juice
  • mix the sugar, flour, salt, and zest together
  • toss with the berries
  • place in a 2-quart baking dish
  • make the topping, mix the flour, oats, and sugar together
  • rub in the butter until the mixture comes together
  • sprinkle the crisp topping over the prepared berries
  • bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until the berries are bubbly and the top is browned
