- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 9 Tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic granules or powder
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 beaten egg
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan
add the flour, butter, seasonings, water, and egg to the bowl of a stand mixer
mix 2-3 minutes
add the parmesan, mix another 1-2 minutes
divide the dough in half
lay a sheet a parchment paper on the counter
roll half of the dough out to 1/4 inch thick, if it cracks simply patch it, slide the paper on a baking sheet
repeat with the second half of the dough
chill for 30 minutes
when ready to bake preheat the oven to 375˚
cut the crackers with a large 3-inch cookie cutter
bake the crackers for 15 minutes or until they're golden brown
be sure to bake the little extra bits of dough they make tasty snacks!
