THE Crackers Recipe

THE Crackers, tangy and crunchy and at under 3 dollars a pound, perfect for giving!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound saltines
  • 1/2 cup olive oil use something you like the taste of
  • 2 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  • place half the saltines in a gallon jar (or ziploc)
  • mix the oil and all the spices together
  • pour half the oil over the crackers
  • seal the jar and roll it over a few times to coat the crackers
  • repeat with remaining crackers and oil
  • roll a few times every 15-20 minutes for 3 hours or so
  • move to another container for storage, use within 5 days

Notes

  • a gallon jar works best for making these but a sealable plastic bag works well too, you just need to be able to seal it and turn it over to coat the crackers
