Sushi Toast

This easy version of avocado toast is perfect for a tasty unique breakfast!

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread use any bread you like, see post for ideas
  • 1 TBSP Cream Cheese
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/4 cup cucumber peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 TBSP mayonnaise kewpie or regular
  • 1 tsp sriracha add more or less to taste
  • 1/2 tsp furikake use how much you like

Instructions

  • Toast the bread in a toaster on medium heat until golden brown
  • let it cool
  • spread a thin layer of cream cheese over the top of it
  • slice the avocado and place the slices on top of the cream cheese, you can mash it up too, and then put it on, if you're worried about it browning toss it with a little lemon or lime juice

  • add a thin layer of sliced cucumbers

  • mix the mayonnaise together with the sriracha, taste as you go, and make it hot enough or mild enough for your enjoyment
  • if you don't like it spicy just use a generous squeeze of kewpie mayo or regular mayo
  • sprinkle with furikake flakes
  • drip and drizzle the spicy mayo over the top
