Rolo Pretzel Shamrocks

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a fun treat! These Rolo Pretzel St. Patrick's Day Treats are easy for kids to make and even more fun to eat!

Ingredients

  • 56 small pretzel twists
  • 16 Rolos
  • 5 ounces white chocolate
  • green food color
  • 2 small bags of M-n-Ms

Instructions

  • preheat the oven to 350˚
  • cover two baking sheets with foil or parchment
  • lay 8 Rolos on each sheet
  • put in the hot oven for two minutes or until the Rolos get shiny
  • pull them out
  • place 3 twists around the Rolo pressing in to stick them in the caramel
  • place the pans in the fridge or freezer to chill
  • place a heat-proof bowl over a small saucepan with water in it
  • place it on a burner over medium-low heat
  • place the chocolate in the upper bowl and stir until almost melted
  • remove from the heat and add as much green food color as you want to make the chocolate green
  • break the remaining pretzels into stem shaped pieces
  • carefully dip the tops of the shamrocks in the green chocolate
  • lay them back on the baking sheet, add a broken pretzel as a stem
  • repeat with remaining shamrocks
  • place back in the fridge or freezer until set
  • store in the fridge in a seal container until ready to serve
