Ingredients
  • 2cups frozen raspberries
  • 1/2cup water
  • 2TBSP Sugaradd more to taste
Instructions
  1. put frozen berries in a saucepan with the water
  2. cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, crushing the berries as they melt
  3. remove from the heat, cool a bit
  4. force through a sieve
  5. pour the raspberry juice back in the saucepan, add 2 TBSP of raspberry seed, or leave out it if you want it seedless
  6. cook gently over medium heat until thickened and reduced by half
  7. remove from heat, add the sugar, stirring to dissolve
  8. taste for sweetness, if you need more sugar add another spoonful or two
Recipe Notes
  • remember do not add the sugar to the raspberries until the juice is thickened up or it will turn into jam!
