Friday Frenzy August 10, 2018

Hi, my crafty foodie friends! Happy happy FRIDAY to you. It’s been a crazy week here, well two+ weeks here. My husband is on the IT team working on the Cyber Attack at our local government offices. He’s been generally working 12-14 hours a day. I’ve been on 100% kid duty, back to school duty, working part-time duty, and everything else duty. Let me tell you it is exhausting. If you have a loving spouse, who is there for you be sure to let them know how much they mean to you. If you know a single parent, please step up and take their kids for even a couple hours, they will act strong but what they really need is a coffee card, 2 hours of peace and donut. Ask me how I know!

I posted a few new posts this week, both of them sponsored both of them for awesome products. These types of posts are fun to write and help pay the bills, so would you mind sharing them? I totally appreciate it.

  1. First up Five Inspiring Bento Box — created five fun lunches your kids will go crazy for the school year
  2. Vegan Dragon Fruit Popsicles — Dairy free and OH SO GOOD!

Hey everyone, Rachel from Tramplingrose here this week, with this week’s Friday Frenzy picks. First up, courtesy of My Recipe Treasures, we have one of my favorite lunch items, Chicken Salad Croissant Sandwiches.

As many of you already know, in the past couple years, I’ve immersed myself in papercrafts of all sorts. These Simple Paper Flowers from White House Crafts are easy enough, even I can make them look good!

If you’ve got a garden and you’re up north like I am, pretty soon tomatoes and peppers should be ready to go – And if you’re elsewhere in the country, no doubt you’re already enjoying them. And that means you could make Savory Moments’ Tomato, Bacon and Jalapeno Skillet Pie.

And for dessert? How about Cooking With Carlee’s Orange Creamsicle Pretzel Salad. A family friend gave me the recipe for the strawberry version for my wedding shower, but this is a nice and refreshing version, perfect for summer!

So that’s it for this week. Hope you drop a link below – We’d love to see what you’ve been up to!
