This health and wellness journey was brought to you by Myrtol 300; all opinions are my own.
I recently went on the most glorious foodie road trip ever with my dear friend Heather of Real the Kitchen and Beyond. We’d been kicking around the idea for a trip like this for about a year now, just something to dream about really. Then when it came time to do or don’t we just jumped right in. I knew I needed to be healthy so I created a checklist for myself and thought I’d share it; Travel Preparations to Keep you Healthy on the Road
We had a connection in Union Gap Washington, and together we built out our itinerary. It was a whirlwind trip hitting as many farms, local restaurant and fruit stands in 7 different towns around Mt. Rainier all while driving a sporty Mazda CX-9.
I knew I needed to be as healthy as possible on my trip and thanks in part to Myrtol 300 and their dietary supplement I was able to keep from getting sick before, during and, most importantly, after my trip.
I’d never heard of Myrtol 300 before this last year. Somewhere in my travels and dealings with friends I heard the word but had no clue what it was. Imagine my surprise as I prepared for my foodie road trip when I got an email in my inbox inviting me to try it out. I jumped on that email because the very last thing I wanted on my trip was to get sick!
This PNW Foodie Road Trip was a special deal for me, I’ve only ever gone places alone, sans kids and husband, when headed to a conference or retreat. This trip was something different and I wanted to relax and enjoy myself so preparing in advance was essential for me too. To prepare, I made up a list of things I thought would to keep from getting sick on this trip.
Travel Preparations to Keep you Healthy on the Road:
- Get ample sleep before you travel
- drink lots of water to keep your body hydrated; this is a must before you go on a trip and also during travel
- eat as healthy as possible
- take your dietary supplements, I take a multi-vitamin, plus a vitamin D, and I added Mrytol 300 with its essential oils for health
- Do what you need to do for your sanity, make lists or don’t make lists, cook ahead, schedule dog walking, house cleaning, whatever keeps you stress-free
I entirely credit following these tips with my fantastic health on our trip. We were busy touring, eating, hiking, meeting, shopping and driving for six days straight. I was healthy when I left, and I came home healthy and ready to work. Good thing too because my house needed it.
