Yep this is definitely late. Yesterday was the HUGE fundraiser auction I’ve been working on since school started. And then that thing with my foot stopped me cold. I went to the set up for auction and spent all day doing what I could to help out. I put in some time with my foot UP or bare minimum sitting and working on things I could do sitting down. There isn’t a LOT that falls in that category but I was determined to be as useful as I could seeing how I’d been so USELESS the last 3 weeks or so. I think the auction was a success our theme was the Roaring ’20s and we had a lot of people come in costume. I even wore a dress, it looked especially awesome with my surgery shoe. It was a lot of fun but needless to say I am dragging today and my foot is sore. I’m trying to take it slower and rest more today, it’s so hard!

This Week’s Features:

Hey, guys! Micha from Cookin’ Mimi here with my favorite posts from last week.

Potato Salad is not just for summer. Easy Pressure Cooked Southern Potato Salad from MelClaire would be great any day. If you have an electric pressure cooker and haven’t used it for potatoes, you’re missing out.

It’s definitely soup weather here and Virginia Ham and Bean Chowder from Faith, Hope, Love, and Luck would be just the thing for supper.

I am unabashedly one of those people. You know the ones that as soon as the clock strikes midnight on November 1st turns into Buddy the Elf. I’ve already got my Christmas music playlist going. We don’t put decorations or the tree until the day after Thanksgiving but I get in heavy duty planning mode in November. Especially when it comes to what goodies I’m making.

Peanut Butter Fudge To Die For from Back to My Southern Roots is on my list for this year because PB Fudge is my favorite.

I can’t wait to see all the amazing posts you guys share this week.
