Winter days in Alaska are short on light and long on time. We like to pass the time by:

teaching the baby otters their lessons

in light saber technology

painting, being careful to not get any on us

or not…

conquering mountains
outside taking pictures of trees in 60 mph wind

always looking for geodes
building our own spinart

watching and

wondering where jets are going

digging snowcaves

watching glorious sunsets

and of course we spend lots of time dreaming of summer

What do you do in the winter?
