  1. pour the chopped chocolate in a dry mixing bowl
  2. heat the heavy whipping cream and Harissa paste to almost boiling stirring constantly
  3. pour over the chopped chocolate and let it stand for a few minutes until the chocolate melts
  4. stir to make sure everything has melted and then let stand for 10 minutes
  5. spread in a foil lined cake 9 inch cake pan and chill for 30 minutes or until the chocolate is set but still pliable
  6. scoop out truffles using a teaspoon cookie scoop
  7. lay on a baking sheet and chill again
  8. roll in unsweetened cocoa powder, sprinkles or powdered sugar and chill until ready to serve
Recipe Notes
  • using a chilled teaspoon cookie scoop is the easiest way to make these truffles but you can use your hands as well
